REMEMBERING PAST LIVES
Wednesday Nov 24, 2010
Wednesday Nov 24, 2010
In 1983 I took a radio job in Vicksburgh Mississippi and stayed there for 2 years. Let me say this, I missed home. Michigan, to be exact. A friend of mine kept wanting to show me the Civil War park that exists in Vicksburgh, I had no interest, I'd rather drink beer.
About 5 years ago I started getting a really strong feeling that I lived during the time of the Civil War. Maybe 2 years ago I started to think that is was somewhere in the south. Also 5 years ago I started to think that I had lived as a native American but it was somewhere back in the 1700's. I don't know how I knew but I just knew. I've pretty much always believed in reincarnation, I don't know why, it just rang true to me.
A couple of months ago I heard about a woman who lives in Detroit and claims to have this ability since she was a child to pick up on someone's past lives. Now does this all seem crazy to you? Maybe it is. I am only relaying what I feel deep inside without concern what others would think. I truly don't care, there was a time when I wouldn't have said or done what I'm doing now, I was too afraid and wanted to fit in. Anyway, I talked to Theresa Grigsby and a few things fell in place, or at least they seemed to. Have you ever felt you were drawn to a certain time period? Is there possibly a reason beyond what you think it may be?
The case for reincarnation: We come back again and again in order to learn. What do we learn? To me there is only one answer. Love. How many of you believe this body we are in is not our true state? If not, then what is? Does this explain why people are so drawn to certain things, like those that reinact civil war battles.
Charging for service. My guest charges $30 for a 30 minute reading, she doesn't get rich doing so. She holds down a regular full time job. Now some will be quick to point out that that she is a phony, how can you make that judgement so quickly? There is a really interesting story that I would consider validation from someone I know who has dealt with Theresa, she works right here in our building. Right or wrong, Theresa strikes me as being passionate in her beliefs.

THE UNDERLYING TRUTH
Wednesday Nov 17, 2010
Wednesday Nov 17, 2010
Have you ever watched a movie or read a book and felt the director or author were trying to tell you something more than what appeared on the surface? My guest this week considers himself a history buff who has had some paranormal experiences that have influenced his writing. His name is Gerald J Kubicki, he grew up in Long Island in a house that had ghost activity. It was witnessed by the whole family. Gerald also has a great interest in World War 2 and, like myself, believes that history can repeat itself if we do not heed the warning signs. So while this is a fictional book mixed with some fact, what is Gerald trying to accomplish? I think he is trying to get a message out and sometimes no one listens if you come out and just tell them, sometimes you have to lead the horse to water but the decision on taking a drink still lies with the horse. Maybe the horse will look in the water and see his reflection and realize that there is more going on here than just quenching it's thirst. Huh?
Gerald now calls Las Vegas his home. He strikes me as someone who is passionate about history and giving credit where credit is due. He also is a first hand witness to the paranormal and it made him a believer. Please welcome Gerald Kubicki this week.

VETERANS DAY
Thursday Nov 11, 2010
Thursday Nov 11, 2010
I'm guessing most countries in the world have a day they set aside to honor those who were willing defend their nations beliefs. So on this show I honor all of you regardless of where you live. But, since I live in America obviously I am going to be talking mostly about American Vets. Now, this is not a blanket statement. I'm sure there are and were some Vets who were not very good individuals, I don't honor those. The people I talk about in this show are just average folks who are pretty amazing in my eyes.
My son Ryan served in Kuwait and Iraq and came under some fire a couple of times. It's what he didn't do that inspires me. If you hate Americans, perhaps you should listen to the story. Aren't we all connected? One thing I didn't mention which I wanted to was that my son loved the people of southern Iraq. They were really appreciative and became friends with the American soldiers. To me it proves that most of us are all the same on the inside, if we could just realize it perhaps there would be no more wars.
My friend Mike served in Vietnam and was exposed to Agent Orange, life has not been so good for him, his story needs to be told.
Finally, like in almost all of my shows, I find a way to fit some paranormal into the show. A pretty good friend told me some things that are officially off the record, but since I'm not using his name or location I feel I can share some of it.
Also, I almost forgot, after I close the show I talk about something really remarkable that happened to me in the last week of October regarding my mother who's been gone since 1997. It was truly uplifting. So it was added at the end if you want to hear it.
Thanks to all veterans, but also to all who help others and give unselfishly. Today you are not taken for granted.

FORGOTTEN PAST
Wednesday Nov 03, 2010
Wednesday Nov 03, 2010
There was a time when newspapers reported everything that went on, I mean everything. Some of these stories were quite simple, like a gathering for a picnic. Some were more complex, some were downright bizare! What was cool was that nothing was left out, imagine if we did that today. I know, most of you wouldn't want to read about it. But, what about all of the unusual events that go unpublished, mainly because today we are leary of speaking our truth. Also, the publishing business has changed (like other forms of media) to promote more negative or attention getting stories. It also (in my opinion) seems that newspapters and all media refuse to report on something that doesn't fit into the norm. What changed in our country? When did it change?
Lisa Shiel has been on my show several times and you can go back and listen to some of the shows we did, usually they were about ufo's and a bigfoot connection. Huh? Yeah, a little strange, but Lisa dug up some reports from eyewitnesses and took a scientific look at the possibility of these things existing. In this book she totally went back and looked at newspapers from the late 1800's into the early part of the 20th century. Events that happened roughly a century ago. This book is a collection of very short stories. One, this is a good example of how life was back then. Two, you will find some unusual accounts that may support some of what would be considered paranormal, or unknown.
In one of my earlier shows I joked about seeing this when I was kayaking down the Autrain river, which connects to Autrain Lake and Lake Superior. Maybe I didn't realize how close I was to the truth! What? In Lisa's book there are tales of these kinds of sea creatures being seen in the great lakes, and even one in Autrain Lake. Really? Not just one report, but several. Gulp! But where are they now? I don't know, but it does seem possible. Also there is a really strange story about shapeshifting. Shapeshifting? It was believed by some back then that people could shapeshift into an animal and many times it wasn't used for the greater good. I remember reading out of book years ago about a man riding home one night back in the 1700's, or 1800's, and encountering a cat that attacked him. It scratched him and his horse quite severly before he was able to beat it off with his riding whip. He had to beat the animal pretty intensely in order to get it to leave him alone. The story went that they found an old woman half beaten the next day and believed her to be a shapeshifter that had transformed into the cat. Strange? Yes. A similar story is told in Lisa's book. Some of the stories involve ghost reports, some involve what was termed wildmen of the woods. These were manlike beings that were spotted by the locals and some turned out to be unexplainable. Others were just sighting of guys that flipped their lid and ran off into the woods. Also we talk about earthquakes, yes there have been some earthquakes in the U.P. believe it or not. Lisa left nothing out, to me it's very interesting to hear these tales. This week I welcome Lisa Shiel from Jacobsville Michigan.

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL
Wednesday Oct 27, 2010
Wednesday Oct 27, 2010
Only on this program will you find solid evidence of so called legends and mythical creatures. Zombies, Vampires, Ghosts, etc. Don't believe me? Want evidence? What could be more proof than a conversation with the real thing? Don't believe me, listen if you dare. This week actual interviews with the dead!!!
Okay so this week is a bit of fun, although there are 3 true stories that I tell within the framework of this show, and the way I did this show may be a bit creepy for some, proceed with caution. This show is a little spooky. Or maybe you won't think it is, good, my goal is not to frighten anyone.
Story number one takes place a few years ago involving a young gal who told me something unbelieveable. Really, I don't know how anyone could believe her story. Story number two is something that actually happened to my brother and was really weird. Story number three involves a good friend from work who crossed the path of some-thing not of this earth. He also got to know two others who had a similar experience, coincidently one of those people bought a house right next to him. What are the odds of that?
Hopefully next week we have an author who has had some real life ghost experiences and wrote a fictional book about ghosts and hauntings.
Have a happy halloween!!!!

MAKING A CONNECTION
Thursday Oct 21, 2010
Thursday Oct 21, 2010
I am always getting emails or calls to talk to certain guests, usually they are paying someone to promote them. I don't have a problem with that, it's hard to get the word out. My problem is that I don't want to promote someone who I don't think is authentic just for the sake of having an interview. So how can I be sure? I can't. But what's really cool is that during the interview if we make a connection. I'm not talking about a friendship, I'm talking about a similar wavelength. I am looking for certain criteria: Is the guest geniune? Is their product or book something that could help others. As an added bonus, are they spiritually aware? Now that may seem a bit silly but this show has more going on than it appears and to be honest almost all of my guests have shared something unique about themselves whether during the interview, or after. That is the connecting fabric in all (well maybe most) of my shows.
Above is a picture of an elderly confused man. Some may think it's funny and perhaps at times it can be. However it isn't a whole lot of fun for the caretakers and family. This week I talk to Mark Underwood out of Madison Wisconsin who is the driving force behind a product called Prevagen. What is Prevagen? Good question. It is a product taken from jelly fish that is supposed to help with memory loss. It's all natural and the only side effects it has is that it helps people sleep better and dream more. If that is true, then that is a great bonus. I feel dreaming is very vital to us, I (not necessarilly Mark) believe it opens the doors to the other side for possible communication from time to time. I only believe this because it has happened to myself and several others that I have spoken to. One guy I work with actually had his mother communicate through a dream telling him to get his health checked, good thing too, he had several arteries that were blocked and that could have led to a stroke or heart attack.
It took Mark Underwood 15 years to develope his product. Years of research went into this supplement before it was released for purchase. Mark told me originally he was driven to do this to help a friend with M.S. He also told me he may be a scientist but he also has a belief in a higher power and that the higher power put things here on Earth for us to find so we can stay healthy. Interesting. Mark did agree with me that it seems there may be some who are only in it for profit regardless of what kind of side effects their product may have. Finally we talk about dreams, Mark has some background in dream analysis so I find that interesting.

THE MESSENGER
Wednesday Oct 13, 2010
Wednesday Oct 13, 2010
This week it gives me great joy to bring back Debi Tibbles and the story of her son Ollie. It is a remarkable story that transends the flesh. Imagine losing your son to cancer at age 7, your life spinning out of control, and then getting a message from the other side. Then you watch events unfold and you begin to realize this is part of a bigger plan, even though you still don't have all of the answers. Is this what lays ahead for all of us? Not necessarily. How come this happens to others and not me? Maybe because you don't want it to. Maybe it does and you don't even recognize it.
Throughout our history we have had many Messengers, those that came only in love and stayed for usually a short time. From my perspective, I believe Ollie fit that category. He chose to leave at an early age, then he chose to come back and make contact, and finally he chose to be a part of a material object that would serve as a reminder for all of us. Now, does this seem a little bizarre? Do you believe in spirits or ghosts, or that we go on from our physical bodies? Where do we go? Good question, where do we go? I am fascinated by this. Now some of you would say, Heaven or that other place. Perhaps so, but how do you explain those that come back to visit or even be a part of your life? Many people I have talked to over the years have told me that everything is by choice. We choose to be here, we choose to come back, we basically are given total freedom to do as we wish. The only problem is that we get a bit lost along the way and sometimes we need reminders to help us find our way home, if we choose. How could I possibly think this way? From all of my own experiences from seeing an actual spirit or ghost leaning over my wife while she was sleeping, to a lantern turning on by itself, to my dad's very unusual visit in 1996- 12 years after he passed, to having my own private communication with a chickadee a week after a friend passed. Do you see why I think this way? Should I be in a padded room?
Debi Tibbles feels the need to tell Ollie's story, wouldn't you? Furthermore, she was instructed by Ollie to do so. It doesn't come easy. I can still see pain in her face at times when she talks about her son, yet I see great joy in his message. It takes some courage to step and say you think your son has been communicating from beyond the grave, imagine how others will respond. Why would someone even do this? To help others, to open the door for someone else. Does pay it forward ring a bell?

ALIENS AMONG US/WAS I TAKEN?-MARILYN RUEBEN
Wednesday Oct 06, 2010
Wednesday Oct 06, 2010
Thanks to my buddy David Twichell for this weeks show. David had Marilyn Rueben on his show recently and I got in contact with her to do yet another show about aliens and ufo's. Too much? I know I try to vary the shows so it's not always one topic but sometimes things just line up a certain way. Last week I had a really nice chat with Jim Moroney, this week from Lansing Michigan it's Marilyn Rueben. Like myself, and so many others, Marilyn had her own strange encounters that got her seeking answers. About 15 years ago she started a website: www.abduct.com to record supposed interactions with alien beings. Sound weird? What I find interesting is that so many from all over the world are reporting strange interactions. All they all crackpots? Are they all halucinating? Are they all on drugs?
A couple of things in my own life. When I was four or five I had these strange events happen to me, and it was at least a dozen times. At the time I had no idea what it was. Years later I thought it was some sort of out of body experience, could it have been something else? I am just realizing that as I write this, wow! Could it be, hmmm? In 1968 I saw a strange oval object, that my parents witnessed as well, move slowly accross the eastern horizon. In 1992 I had what I believe was a visitation from what is termed a grey when I was sleeping at my mothers house. In 2005 I saw a gray metalic object traveling west at low elevatation into the sunlight and it only was visible when it turned and the sun caught it just right. I don't know what that was, I figured a plane of some sort. Before my mom died in 1997 she said there was a strange light outside of her home and it wasn't the moon. My son saw a ufo split into two right above his head when camping in the early 90's. My wife saw a ufo with a friend while driving back on a highway one night. My mother in law saw a craft land with her sister as a witness. Plus many friends have told me many stories as well. Do you see why I believe? Are we all nuts? Listen, none of these people including myself have gone around telling others or talking about this a lot, well maybe I have quite a bit.
Marilyn operated her website out of her own time and pocket, similar to what I'm doing with this site. Are we making money from this? Um, can't you tell by looking at my site? No. Why do we do this? We feel the need to connect with others and allow what may be a form of the truth to be presented. In this weeks show we get into a lot of Alien topics, for me it's second nature, I have heard most of this before. For some of you this may be new, please proceed with caution. I am not doing this to create fear, instead by accepting what may be going on we can move past fear. I think. What is going on? Well, unlike our gentle approach by Jim last week (which I totally support) this weeks show is a little more to the meat, shall I say. It deals with abductions, implants, hybrid babies, even knowing if you may have been taken, typical ufo stuff which Marilyn speaks of so casually since she's been around it for so long. I see a lot in the ufo community as being leary of doing interviews because so often they are not taken seriously. I also see them as being a bit negative at times because so often they are duped or tired of disinformation. I don't share all of their opinions but I do believe that something weird is going on. As you may have heard me say before, to me it's all connected and it's part of the greater, there are no accidents even when dealing with any of the unknown. Furthermore, I don't approach these things with fear, perhaps those that experience uncomfortable events are seeing it through their own fear.
I will say this. You will hear it from Marilyn herself. If you are taken, you can make the experience more pleasant or less pleasant depending on your response and attitude. Perhaps we have more control of these situations than we realize?

A STRANGE TALE FROM 1987
Wednesday Sep 29, 2010
Wednesday Sep 29, 2010
I guess I've always been a believer that life could exist elsewhere, why not? When I was in the third grade I saw an oval craft move slowly across the eastern horizon. I could not identify it, neither could my parents. It was huge and it slowly moved north to south, until it faded from view. Nothing, right? In 1992 I had what I would call a visitation from some thing that woke me up from a sound sleep. Since then many family and close friends have had similar if not even more bizare events. Someone real close to me saw a craft land. Another person was followed by one, it would actually dissapear into the woods when another vehicle approached from the opposite way. Sound nutty? Well, I'm sure some will dismiss without even listening, those are the ones who have all the answers, although they really don't. Who does? I know I don't. But I do have my own experiences along with friends and family that I trust. While some can be explained away, perhaps, most of it can't! So think what you will, it is your choice, but this week's show is about an alien abduction.
At left is Jim Moroney, an average guy who in 1987 was traveling across Canada when he chose to get some shut eye at a truck stop in a remote area. Jim has vivid recollection of what took place while he was awake, but what he found out under hypnosis was even more shocking! Before you pass judgement as to whether he is a crackpot maybe it wouldn't hurt to listen to his story. I have heard many stories before, and seen many shows and documentaries on the subject, even read many books, but I really have no great desire to make this my only mission in life. It is part of what I talk about, or part of a greater truth as I would call it. Now I will tell you this, what these beings said to Jim was very interesting. It's funny because if you go back in my archieves to one of my first shows you will find a local woman and her husband discussing basically the same thing. Interesting. At the time when I did the interview with the couple I didn't know what to think because I had never heard of these beings having this kind of contact before. Jim's contact with these beings is very unique I will say, and while many may have a similar experience- most don't remember or it's not as clear.
Jim has a book out called The Extraterrestrial Answer Book. This book is based on his own first hand knowledge from these beings. I think his message from whatever these are was real simple, and it had to do with our own spritual evolution. Now wait, no cattle mutilations? No. People being used for experiments or procreation purposes? No. Then why are they here and what do they want? I don't know. Perhaps Jim's story will shed some insight. Jim has been on several shows including Coast To Coast and feels the need to spread the word. Even if all of this is made up, it's still a pretty good message.
Are you a believer? Or, do you think it is all a hoax? Why do you believe the way you do? Did something happen to you to shake you to the core to change your way of thinking?

WEATHER PATTERNS
Thursday Sep 23, 2010
Thursday Sep 23, 2010
What is going on with our weather? Are we doomed with global warming? Is there misinformation regarding global warming? Is someone profiting from it? Are we actually heading into a cooling trend? Could another ice age not be that far away? Is our weather influenced by sun spots, and what are we seeing with the sun right now? Did they count sun spots back in the days of Copernicus? Is there a possible conclusion to draw from that history? There are so many opinions, who can we trust?
Karl Bohnak has been a meteoroligist at WLUC TV 6 in Marquette Michigan for 23 years. Marquette is on the south side of Lake Superior and receives more than their share of snow. If you like snow, Marquette (or Negaunee where the tv station is actually located) is a great place to live. I like snow, but not that much. That's why I live in the banana belt of Upper Michigan, the Escanaba area. We don't get hardly any snow thanks in part to the fact that we are not directly south of a Great Lake.
Karl has authored two books: So Cold A Sky and Upper Michigan Almanac. The latter was co-authored with Ron Jolly. I thought this interview would be about some history, some strange accounts (believe it or not bigfoot sightings) and weather analysis. However, like many interviews, this one took on a life of it's own and we got into a discussion about global warming. Do you believe in global warming? I can't say I buy into it, I see a lot of people profiting from it and that always makes me leary. Karl has a somewhat different outlook than many, he doesn't buy into the global warming theory, and yes it really hasn't been proven. He is very passionate about his profession and believes that global warming may not exist at all, he has even been banned from some area schools for his beliefs. You've got to be kidding, right? What happened to having an open mind and presenting an opposing argument? For some reason there seems to be a media agenda to get us to believe in saving the Earth. What if the Earth doesn't need our help? I'm not saying we shouldn't take care of the planet but what if some are seeking to gain profit from all of this, follow the money trail. Karl also suggests that our weather could be affected by sun spots, something I heard a long time ago. What are the sun spots telling us now? Could we be going in the opposite direction of global warming? This interview is not meant to scare anyone, and it will not hype up what you've already heard. Instead, I see this as a chance to hear someone speak out against what is considered the popular viewpoint. See what you think.
Some of you may think this conflicts with some of the 2012/Earth change guests I've had on before. It does. It's good to get varying opinions, especially from those who work within the profession.
Upper Michigan is sparsely populated. Some of us might be considered hicks. Some of us may also be considered down to earth/connected. Some of us may also be considered fortunate to live in an area surrounded by so much nature and 2 great lakes, and by some accounts, sasquatch!
