The reason I chose to talk to Rebecca is mostly due to my constant search for natural products or treatments that can help us all. It's funny because this was just scheduled to be a radio interview, but when we started talking off the air I realized that this would be a great show for a podcast. Rebecca seems to have discovered some natural ways to help deal with what can be a difficult time in the life of so many women.
This show is not just about menopause, it also has some involvement with the paranormal. Rebecca shares some very personal experiences as well. One of which is a near death experience. I've always been fascinated with these type of stories. Rebecca also shares the tragic loss of her mother and the healing contact she would later have when her mother came back to visit.

Lisa Shiel is a bigfoot/ufo/paranormal researcher. Lisa always tries to view events through a scientific lens. Try as I may, I can't get her to speculate...which really tells me that she researches her stories first before she comments on them. I really enjoy talking to Lisa because she is such a pleasant spirit. Part of this interview is about Sasquatch. We also talk about "Champ". Have you heard about Champ? Champ is our version of the Lochness monster that lives in Lake Champlain in New York. Are you up for werewolves? Hope so...uh...cause that is part of the discussion as well. Lisa has co-authored a book that will be coming out soon called Strange Michigan. So as you can guess we cover a lot of wierdness. Do I believe in all of these things? No, but I am open to at least hearing about them. Is there a coverup when it comes to bigfoot, similar as there seems to be with ufo's? Why would someone do that? I really don't want to go into conspiracies but it makes you wonder why more hardcore evidence hasn't turned up. Yes, Waye Braver, I know what your thinking. "It's because they don't exist." Perhaps so. Perhaps not. Some food for thought: I got an email from Jen Cupples and while kayaking with a group in Lower Michigan they had an unusual encounter. Someone or something was shaking an entire tree quite noticibly. Jen also shared with me an email from some other people that have witnessed similar events and seem to believe that it was caused by a sasquatch. The individual in the email claimed this is how a bigfoot lets you know when you're in its territory. This would also explain why others have had rocks thrown in their direction whenever they wander into an area that has had bigfoot sightings. Possible?

I've known Mary for many years now, we became good friends almost immediately. Mary's sarcastic humor is almost a mirror of mine. We have talked about almost everything including the creator. I realize it's probably wise to tread carefully when discussing this topic. Now why is that? I mean no disrespect to anyone or their beliefs but I enjoy talking about all things. Mary is the same way and although she is Catholic and I'm...to be honest I don't know what I am, we can have a discussion without getting heated over something that is close to our heart. But what's amazing is that we can find common ground even though there may be vast differences in the way we see things. The reason we went down this road was in part to prove that we all can find some common ground in spititual beliefs, and if that was the case...then is there a chance the world can follow suit? Would that end some of the wars that exist today? How can we move forward if we don't at least listen and respect what the other person has to say. In the end we may realize we have more in common than we realize. Sadly, like some of you, Mary lost her dad at an early age. They were pretty close. What's great about these stories is that her dad seemed to come back almost right away and keep an eye on her all the way into early adulthood. Even her roomates in college were witness to these events! Whether you believe these to be true or not, so be it. But what I take away is at least some comfort in the possibility that all spirits go on and that love moves beyond the flesh. Also included in the interview is a discussion about "The Secret".

Some people get locked into one area, perhaps that makes them experts on a certain subject. My guest this week does not fit that mold. She explores pretty much anything that seems unknown or paranormal. Jen is a lot like me, I have a great desire to seek answers for all of the unknowns... yet I haven't taken the time (and probably won't) to focus on just one subject. It seems to me that even open minded people get locked on one area involving the paranormal and lose sight (or interest) in other unexplained phenomena. What is it about the Pyramids of Egypt, were they really built by the Egyptians. Doesn't it seem like a more advanced race may have designed them? Why are there so many pyramids all over the earth in just about every culture? Was it just a common design or is there a greater hidden truth behind their unique structure? Did you know there may be pyramids in Michigan, even in Upper Michigan? Jen also discusses a white bigfoot she saw last winter, and unlike those fellows in Georgia, doesn't have any evidence other than her own eye witness account to support her story. No hype, no seeking out the press, no money exchanging hands. I called her, not the other way around. So judge as you may on the phonies, some of us are just trying to relay the truth as we have experienced it... Jen belongs to group that shares and investigates the unknown. I find there are many groups that exist. What I do like about Jen is that she is very open and respectfull of others beleifs. You can check out her website: michiganwildernessparanormalclub.com I would only recommend it to those of you with really open minds.

Episode XXII Stories From A Ghosthunter and Mysterious Huge Orbs
Thursday Aug 14, 2008
Thursday Aug 14, 2008
Both of these interviews were taken off of the radio. Both occured within the last couple years. Sorry they are not fresh, but due to modern science they are loaded with preservatives so they are definitely not stale! Maryanne Brown is a ghosthunter out of Marquette, Michigan and shares some of her experiences. More and more people seem to be drawn to this, why is that? Also part 2 is an interview with Kerrie Schiel. Kerrie talks about basketball sized orbs which she has seen in the woods. I've only heard about these types of orbs more recently. I'm not really impressed with the smaller ones because they could be anything...but these are different. Hmm...what could they be? Added comment 8/19/08. This is not part of the interview nor will it probably be in future podcasts. "Bigfoot found in Georgia." I never get too worked up when I hear about these things in the news. They never pan out, and why is that? Some would say "because they don't exist." Others who've seen and witnessed these things know differently. I just think there are those who don't want us to know. If that statement is in any way true then the next question is, why? Maybe we're not ready. Maybe it would shake the scientific world and their delicate egos. Maybe there are other answers?

Episode XXI Ghosts in Manistique & Dateline Missed The Bigger Story
Thursday Aug 07, 2008
Thursday Aug 07, 2008
Recently a trial took place not far from here and my guest this week was on the jury. We really don't discuss the case so much but instead look at some of the paranormal activities that many felt while sitting in the courtroom. This case made national headlines and was also featured on a national newsmagazine program. After talking with my guest I think the bigger story was probably missed. Was the victims spirit there in the court room? If so, why was it there? Many of you have witnessed events and are afraid to speak of them. We all have the fear of ridicule or rejection. It takes some courage to step forward to speak your truth. I give my guest credit this week for taking that step. Why is it so important? Perhaps the answer is two fold. One, it may open the door for someone else to speak their truth. (how many times in history has one person spoke up and others started to do the same) Two, if there is a greater truth that exists out there, don't you think that someone wants us to know about it? I believe my guest this week has the ability to sense and see things and I am gratefull that she is willing to share.

Episode XX The Bigger Picture with Debbie Bergeon
Wednesday Jul 23, 2008
Wednesday Jul 23, 2008
This week I talk to the Angel Lady, but I just don't want you to think of her as the angel lady. Her Name is Debbie Bergeon, actually...reverand Debbie Bergeon. This week you'll get some insight on one of my previous guests. Plus, and I don't know how to explain it, with some folks you just have a connection. Some believe that may in part be due to time spent together in a previous lifetime. Debbie and I kind of toss that around, she seems to believe that I was her brother at one time. I feel that could be. So why is it that some believe in that and some don't? And how does it fit into the bigger picture? Furthmore, what are we here to accomplish? Are we here by accident, or is it part of a greater plan? And if so, why? Ugh...I know, too many questions! Debbie shares some of her insight on these questions and we talk about some recent events in which she used angel assistance. I'll be honest, there was a time when talking about this stuff would have creeped me out, but not anymore. Angels, reincarnation, ghosts, whatever! What changed? I can only say the truth will set you free, and by that I mean you no longer fear the unknown when you feel like you have found some truth. Perhaps the truth is different for all of us? I've always wanted to do a show that would tie all of these things together, because I feel that they are all connected. Perhaps it is best for you to figure it out for yourself?

Episode IXX Trip to Lakenenland and Poltergeists in Texas
Monday Jul 14, 2008
Monday Jul 14, 2008
A few weeks back Lisa Schiel (yes, ugh, the bigfoot lady) invited me to a gathering at a place called Lakenenland. Lakenenland is about 9 miles east of Harvey on highway M28 in Upper Michigan. Tom Lakenen is the owner of the property and the unique park is free to the public. If you want to see something unusual then I suggest you check out his artwork. The first segment this week is a brief interview with Lisa, Tom and then a gal named Jen from lower Michigan. Jen describes seeing a bigfoot last winter and it was all white. After talking to her it made me wonder if they change color with the seasons to blend in. I guess I'll have to chat with Lisa about that in the future. Also a few years ago I talked to a somewhat troubled woman in Houston Texas who was having some difficulties with ghosts and even what I would call poltergeists. Melissa Poskey and her husband Lee live in a house to this day that is (according to her) haunted. The poltergeist activity has seemed to cease after more than one attempt to cleanse it. Imagine something pinning you down so you couldn't move and the more angry you got the more it controlled you. I know I have seen ghosts and had strange things happen, but nothing like what Mel and her family have experienced. By the way, originally when I called Mel she was a bit leary to tell her story but after I gained her confidence she opened up. Thank you Melissa.

Episode XVIII Ouija boards, ufos and ghosts
Monday Jul 07, 2008
Monday Jul 07, 2008
When I was a kid I used to be afraid of ouiga boards, we never owned one. Mom talked about it, but never got the courage to get one. We were afraid of the dark prospects associated with a ouiga board. Besides...I don't think dad would have let us. Mom was open...dad... not so much! Funny how fear keeps you from advancing forward... Now fast forward several years later. Somewhere around the turn of this decade. I met a guy who I like to play golf with from time to time. Not so much for the sport, because I suck pretty bad and he's pretty good, but for the friendship. I like Dan because he strikes me as geniune and down to earth. Somehow, (and I don't know quite how) we got on the subject of ouija boards and it turns out Dan's mom used to mess with them all of the time. When he was younger he thought it was a normal thing. Funny how what you grow up with determines (at least for a while) what you consider normal. After some emailing back and forth Dan and his son Brandon decided to come on the show. Thank you to both of them for sharing their stories. Dan talks about ouiga boards, and ufos. Brandon shares a fairly recent chilling ghost story. Just two regular guys sharing their stories...not seeking attention in any way. How do I feel about ouija boards now? I just see them as a way to communicate with others who have passed. Sometimes you get good ones...and if you're not sure of what you're doing...sometimes you get very negative beings. Are they more powerfull than good ones? How can they be? Isn't good (highest unconditional love) stronger than anything? Doesn't love conquer all? If that is the case, what is there to fear? Now, would I recommend someone messing around with a ouija if they don't know what they doing? No, I think like anything it would'nt hurt to gain some knowledge before using it.

Episode XVII Does prayer work?
Monday Jun 23, 2008
Monday Jun 23, 2008
My guest this week is a man by the name of Michael Maurino. Michael works out of Florida for a company called Pitch. Michael's job is to contact radio stations and try to promote his clients. Go figure that we would eventually get around to discussing other topics besides his clients. But that is what I do, people call me for something and I wind up asking them questions. It probably drives them nuts. Michael was willing to chat and because of his background in radio, perhaps it was a chance to reconnect with that. (in this case a podcast) In this interview, Michael describes some coincidences that some might say could be an answer to his prayers. I've always wondered why some prayers are answered and some aren't. Now why is that? And why is it that we need to believe in order for the prayer to work? What difference does it make? Perhaps there is a formula to making them more effective...hmm...Could it be similar to that movie "The Secret?" Just so you are not thrown for a suprise, I only did two segments with Michael, the last segment is me talking about reincarnation.
