Episode LXII Near Death Experience, Alcoholism and Natural Products

Do you believe that everyone comes into your life to teach  you something?  I read that a while back and I can see it with just about everyone that I encounter.  I have known my friend Ron for quite some time and I have seen him struggle in almost all of that time.  Something has changed, and the doors seem to be opening up for him.  I have learned from his experiences.  Now I see the great rewards that seem to be awaiting him on his long and difficult journey.  To me, these are topics that we all are familiar with.  Drug or alcohol dependence, and other illness.  Depressing?  Perhaps in this case ... inspiring! Also on the strange front (if you consider n.d.e.'s strange) we get into a pretty detailed discussion about a near death experience involving Ron's brother.  The handfull that I've heard over the years are normally not that detailed, this one is. Finally, thank you Ron, it takes a lot to admit some truths that most of us would want to remain hidden.  I know he is doing it to help others, perhaps that too is part of his greater journey.  Many thanks to him.

   Some scientists believe the magnetic poles are shifting, north is heading south and south is heading north.  Did we really mess up the planet that bad, or is that part of a natural cycle?  Will this shift bring forth any natural disasters?  Is the shift connected in any way to the increased number of paranormal sightings?  Is the shift connected to a shift in conciousness? Episode XL THE LEGEND OF THE MAN-WOLF

Linda S Godfrey is an author and investigator from southeastern Wisconsin.  Linda has written several books including the one she co-authored with Lisa Schiel called Strange Michigan.  I had a little free time this week so I shot her an email and she agreed to come on the show.  My first impression is that she is humble, down to earth, and genune.  Now before you pass judment on the topic, perhaps you should listen to the show.  To be honest just prior to talking to Linda I would have probably not believed that these things existed.  I saw a couple of shows about the man-wolf but really haven't heard much about these creatures.  To me, if I was a regular listener, I would think that this is totally "out there".  After our chat...hmm...not so much.  Linda has made appearances on Coast To Coast, The Jeff Rense Show, and the tv show Monster Quest. Episode XXXIX Mindy Wills Trip To Texas

Mindy joins me again this week and we discuss her trip to Texas.  By the way congrats to Mindy on her engagement!  Mindy and her fiance (who's family is from Texas) spent the holidays down near Waco, and took a trip to San Antonio.  Mindy heard some interesting ghost stories while down there and shares those on this podcast. Also we discuss an event we went to a couple of years ago that involved channeling.  Is channeling real, for one?  If so, is it wise to be messing with the unknown?  How do you feel about this? Flu shots, do you think they are necessary?  This doctor doesn't think so.  According to Dr. Pescatore the shot only covers one type, and there are many types.  So what can you do?  Dr. Pescatore offers some natural options. Dr. Pescatore works at a clinic in New York city and has seen many amazing results using a natural alternative.  Dr. P. also hosts a weekly talk show on a radio station in the city. Episode XXXVI Encouraging Inner Growth In Our Children With Pamela McQuade

This week I talk with Pamela McQuade about several things.  We talk about how children have abilities that adults no longer have, and how to encourage children to develope those skills.  For example:  Children have the ability to see ghosts when others can't.  The same with animals.  Why is that?  Some believe it has to do with programming.  We have been told our whole life that these things do not exist.  Is it simply because children are totally open, and that allows them to see things more clearly?  Pamela also offers some other common sense tips for Parenting.  When we were kids we got spankings, parents don't do that so much anymore.  I think that is wise.  But what about teaching accountability?  Would you admit that we are going through some kind of change in the world?  Perhaps parenting is going through an evolutionary process as well. Later we talk about a dark time in Pamela's life when she seriously thought about taking her own life.  Have you ever felt that way?  She claims an angel's voice guided her out of her darkness.  Plus we get into other strange stuff that you would expect from this show including shamans, past lives and dead relatives.  Fun stuff huh?

Episode XXXV A Ghostly Road Tour Of Michigans Upper Peninsula

I was told about Jan Langley via a friend.  Jan wrote a book called: A Ghostly Road Tour Of Michigans Upper Peninsula.  The book is about investigations from one end of the up to another.  Jan also belongs to a paranormal group out of Sault Ste. Episode XXXIV Judy Johnson speaks about her own near death experience and other things.

This week I bring back Judy Johnson to talk about her book, a near death experience, past life regression, and Abraham. Judy wrote a back called Tapping Into Joy which focuses on a teaching that shows how we can use a technique of tapping at our energy points to help heal or overcome traumatic events. Secondly Judy discusses a near death experience she vividly remembers from 1981.  I always find these stories interesting.  Is this some sort of proof about what takes place in the afterlife? Also we talk about past life regression.  Some believe that some of our fears and traumas may be left over from a previous lifetime.  I first started to think this was possible years ago when I read a book called Life Between Life. Finally we talk about Abraham.  Who, or what is Abraham?  According to Judy, Abraham is an entity (spirit) that communicates through a woman by the name of Edna and provides great wisdom.  This is what some would call channeling.  A channel is someone who has the ability to let someone, or something speak through them.   There was a time when I would have thought this stuff was just wierd.  Now after many years of exploration and attending several channeling sessions I realize it is not such a big deal.  Are some who do this fake?  Absolutely.  Are all?  Experience has taught me to believe that some are probably geniune.  People always say "I think it's all connected."  How?  "I don't know?"  What if it's all connected by thought, and if that is the case wouldn't we all have the ability at times to pick up on a thought from someone (or something) else.  Has that ever happened to you? Episode XXXIII Interview with a Medium

Let me introduce you to Keith Norton, a medium from Lower Michigan that I met a couple of years ago.  I went to a seance in 2006, first time ever, expecting that it could be a hoax.  I had never met the man before, nor had I even talked to him prior to doing the seance. There were six of us sitting around the table, including Keith, waiting for the possibility of contact with loved ones who had passed.  I can't speak for others but as far as myself, Keith nailed several things that evening.  Probably the most surprising was his description of my mother, if he was making it up he sure got pretty lucky!  After more than one conversation via the phone I feel pretty comfortable with Keith as far as being genuine, at least in my perception.  Do you think it is true that there are those who can communicate with spirits?  If so, don't we all have the ability to do so?  Is this something to be weary of?  Perhaps you would like to try to contact someone.  I can't gaurentee that you will recieve some kind of connection but you can check out Keith's website:  WWW.VOICESBEYOND.NET
