MAKING MIRACLES WITH DR BETH

February 23rd, 2011

30172.jpgOn Sunday I was between a rock and a hard place.  I had been having difficulty lining up guests.  So I asked the universe if I should continue to do this, was it beneficial?  I thought I could at least cut back and not do shows every week.  Like many of you I work a fulltime job that consumes roughly 50 hours per week of my time.  Like many of you my workload has increased. When I do a show it probably takes 3 hours including research, recording, editing, uploading, and publishing.  I don't mind the extra work, this is my passion.  So enough complaining already, okay?  But as I came into this week I was a bit frustrated...

Monday, out of nowhere, I got an email from an old friend who requested to be on my show.  Her name is Dr. Beth, she was a guest once before but we hadn't talked in many moons. Is this an answer from the universe or is it a coincidence? On Tuesday I got an email from another friend, still a coincidence? Hmm.........

Talk about doing a 180.  The last few shows have been about ufos and abductions and now this is something totally different, how are they connected?  Dr Beth is an ordained minister who hails from the Phillipines, yet she had a home not far from me in Garden Michigan.  In our previous interview I learned Dr Beth's life changed after she suffered a stroke.  She went on an inward journey where she claims that God provided her with answers.  Her illness had very little to do with the physical reality, it had to do with her spiritual journey.  If you want to hear joy, true joy, then listen to what Dr Beth has to say.  Can it change your world?  I absolutely think so.  She reminds us that if we focus on the negative what will we get?  More of the same.  We have to let it go and focus on what we really want out of life with a joy filled attitude.  Is it that simple?  Someone once said to me:  Whatever we focus on the longest becomes the strongest.  I agree, it is so easy to fall into the negative viewpoint because we live (in my opinion) in a world that has been controlled by negative forces, yet the darkness is beginning to be penetrated by more and more light.  How do we deal with the chaos?  How do we make things better?  Do you see why Dr Beth is my guest this week?

IS DISCLOSURE COMING?

davidtwitchellsbook.jpg When I talk to David Twichell it's like welcoming an old friend home.  If I could do a show just talking to others about their experiences, well that would be fine with me.  I don't feel the need to bring on the experts, because when it comes right down to it, it's just a matter of opinion.  I'd rather talk to someone who went through an ordeal and experienced it first hand.  Almost all of my guests have that in common.  David is no different even though he is the host of a ufo related radio show in Detroit, he has experienced phenomena first hand.  David has remained humble, unlike others who deal with this topic and may have gained some noteriety.

In the past we've talked a little bit about his family's experience with a close encounter in 1962.  This week David goes into more detail about this incident and how it affected his sister for years after.   It wasn't until a few years ago that she was able to put some of the pieces to the puzzle together.  It has had a dramatic effect on her life.

This past Saturday on NBC's weekend Today Show one of the hosts talked with Travis Walton.  I was really surprised that they would talk about this on network tv, especially since it was an event that took place over 30 years ago.  Normally they just seem to ignore these types of stories, why are they interested now?  Some feel we are getting close to a time of disclosure.  A time when our own government will tell us some of what may be going on.  Really?  Why now?

We took a couple of twists in this interview and David talked about an abductee who wanted to know why he was being taken.  This abductee was shown that prior to coming here, he made a decision to be allowed to be taken.  I thought that was interesting and it supports what I believe, that nothing happens by accident.  Finally towards the end we get off the topic a bit and talk about a little visit that David and his wife had to a psychic how he was told that he and his wife shared a previous life during the Civil War, in the South.  This led me to speculate if we knew each other and some other humorous possibilities.

This week it's David Twichell from Trenton Michigan.   www.ufoimplications.com

3RD ANNIVERSARY OF SHOWS

February 9th, 2011

00:0000:00

alienfem.gifThis month marks the 3rd year I've been doing shows.  I've now done almost 135 shows, although some have been repeats.  When I first started doing this it was just for fun, as I got to talk to more people I noticed a pattern with some of my guests- their stories were eerily similar.  Especially the abductions stories.  One of my first interviews was with a couple named Mark and Jenny, really, really down to earth people who I found very humble.  Perhaps it is just me but it seems that people with a humble approach in life are the ones who experience the paranormal a bit more than the rest.  Are they more open minded?  Perhaps, although that isn't always a factor.  I think it's their simple take on life that seems to attract the unknown.  Have you ever noticed that as well?  My theory is that when you remove ego the truth seems to come forward.  I've also noticed that some who are in complete turmoil seem to experience these kinds of things, does that have something to do with their life being in turmoil?  Again, I don't know.  I know some people who I believe it certainly may be the cause of their turmoil and there are others who I believe just lead a chaotic life.  Mark and Jenny are not it chaos, that I know of, but they are humble people who I believe that are leading simple lives.  They strike me as the type of people who only wish to be themselves, their true humble self.  I like that, I am drawn to that.  Are you?

This show is a repeat and I edited it down by some 5 minutes.  When I first started doing shows I used to do 2 breaks, now I only do one.  I find it good to take a break so I can collect my thoughts and make sure my guest is comfortable.  Plus back then I was a bit of a clown (I still am) so I did some goofy spots in between my segments, I'm guessing they weren't beneficial to the show, so I've dropped that.  I don't horse around as much, I figure if you're listening you want to hear the story and not the clown who's hosting the show.  Needless to say, I think I've grown in that respect.

These two people have an amazing story to tell and I find it fits in with my next upcoming show with David Twitchell.  Jenny talks about being taken in the middle of the night and it was actually quite a pleasant experience, her story is quite similar to Jim Maroney's experience in 1987.  What I've noticed lately in the emails I get is that there are some who are trying to make it seem as though that all of  these experiences are bad, my own interaction (along with my guests) tells me otherwise.  There seems to be a battle going on within MUFON and there is so much negativity involving the debunkers and those trying to defend themselves.  I guess my goal over the next two weeks is to take a look at what I think is really going on in the ufo/anti ufo community, and what may be going on with certain kinds of abductions.  This week is a rebroadcast of Mark and Jenny's remarkable experiences with spirits and ufo's and at the time I didn't know what to think.  Now it seems to fall in line with what others have told me.

THE VITAMIN PROFESSOR

February 3rd, 2011

00:0000:00

thevitaminprofessor.jpgDoug Ingoldsby from California joins me this week.  Doug's father, James Ingoldsby, got started in the vitamin business way back in the 1930's and was considered by some to the father of the vitamin industry.  Doug's company is called Nutritech and makes a product called All One, basically vitamins or supplements.

I have been a big believer in vitamins since I was a child but I really saw the effect they can have on our bodies back in the winter of 1984.  I had moved to Vicksburg Mississippi and being a typical young guy I didn't keep up with my supplements like I should have.  I had kept getting sore throats and they were just becoming more severe each time around.  You start to live in fear, wondering what you're going to do to solve this problem.  A simple phone call to my mother set things in motion that changed my life forever.  She told me just start taking some vitamin C.  I did and the sore throats went away and never came back, never!  Now, had I followed conventional medicine, what do you think would have happened?  They would have removed my tonsils, or given me an antibiotics shot or who knows.  Over the years I have met people who claim they have beaten cancer and other ailments with natural supplements.   Yet when I pass the stories on, I usually get a blank stare, why is that?  They don't believe because it didn't come from their trusted health care professional.

In this weeks show Doug talks about the advantages of powedered supplements and how vitamins are made and processed.  We look at the pros and cons of using pharmecutical prescriptions.  Doug answered all my questions and seemed pretty good natured, futhermore some of what he said rang true because I have experienced it first hand.  Now what does a show like this have to do with the paranormal or the unknown?  Well, I believe there are many who are unaware of what supplements can really do for the body and there are those who might suggest that this being kept from the public.  Why?  Could it be money?  Greed?  Now, are all supplement companies looking out for our best interest?  I don't think so.  The only way you can find out for sure is to try their products.  Do I believe Doug or trust what he has to say?  I have no reason not to, his company has been around for a long time.

What if you are sick right now and listening to this?  What do you have to lose?  Mainly this interview is about preventive maintenence.  Anyone have a supplement story they would like to share.
