Thanks to Linda Godfrey for the contact, I finally got around to connecting with Marie D. Jones about her book 2013, The End Of Days Or A New Beginning. Are you freaked out with what may be coming? Is there anything coming at all? This week I have a guest that takes a bit more of a scientific approach to what may happen in 2012. Marie doesn’t think that much will happen, at least not on the scale that some have said. Marie explains what she really thinks the Mayan calender meant, and how there doesn’t seem to be evidence of a polar shift. Is the 2012 event overhyped? I think so. Will anything happen at all? I don’t know. We both agree that it could be more of a spiritual awakening than anything else. I think it is healthy to hear more than one view point on this subject. Does anyone really know for sure?
Marie has written many books, she has been on Coast To Coast with George Noory, The History Channels Nostradomas Effect, and many other programs. Marie is a New Thought/Metaphysics minister with extensive background in metaphysics, spiritual studies, and the paranormal. Marie spent 15 years with MUFON in LA and San Diego. She is the current director of Special Projects to the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team.

Lisa was on not that long ago talking about her new book, this time we delve into some of her personal beliefs. I always like doing that. Is there a “conspiracy” when it comes to theories about evolution? Are there those who know it doesn’t quite add up but are not willing to admit it? There was just some survey realeased today that said 39% of people in the U.S. believe in evolution. You might say, so what? I look at it this way, if we are being lied to (or just mislead by ignorance) about evolution, what other false truths do we believe in? Lisa’s approach to this topic is very scientific, as usual. She always spends years of research before she releases anything. I respect that. What’s neat about this interview is that I got her to speculate as to our true origins and other phenomena. She has witnessed ufo’s first hand, investigated for MUFON, investigated bigfoot sightings, had some kind of bigfoot/sasquatch communication, and has seen mysterious huge orbs in the woods. Do you think she’s a crackpot? I hope not. I know her mother and father as well, and they are just regular down to earth folks. Her mom has had a few strange things happen and her dad is mainly a skeptic, although he did see some sort of mysterious hairy thing staring at him in the woods. It was upright and wasn’t a bear. They all live in an isolated part of the U.P. on 40 acres of land and are happy with that. It’s a bit remote but nature is right at their fingertips. They have horses, the weird thing is that something was braiding the horses hair. Now who would be around to do that considering their location?
This week I am on vacation, again. Isn’t it great? Maybe not so much for you? Since I’m a country bumkin and have dial up internet at home, I am merely uploading a show that already ran. My friend Kathy notified me recently that this book is now doing pretty well. I interviewed the author a while back and I don’t know how many have heard the story. It is pretty amazing. It is a story of survival, determination, incredible will, love and divine assistance. Hestor Rumberg is a good friend of Judith Sleavin’s, and moved forward to tell her amazing story. Why do bad things happen to good people? Is there always a greater purpose? Are there angels or spirit guides around us?
Happy Halloween! This week I speak with 3 middle school students about ghost stories. It all started quite simply, I was talking with Julie Mallard about the United Way, it just so happened that her daughter was with her. Somehow (gee I wonder how that happened) we got on the topic of ghost stories and Kristin had a few to share. I thought it would be fun if we got a few folks in the studio and recorded a Halloween show dealing with ghost stories. Remember how much fun it was as a kid to tell ghost stories. Remember the innocense of being a kid. So many things we didn’t quite understand but yet we were blessed because we were pure. So this week I welcome Julie Mallard, her daughter Kristin, her son Eric, and Riley Goddard. They all have had experiences of their own. Kristin and Eric believe that their dad’s house has a spirit, and just recently dad admitted to them that he saw something too. I see that as progress, good job guys!

Here is the rest of the show that David and I recorded a couple of weeks ago and that aired recently on radio in southern lower Michigan and on the internet. David talks to many in the ufo world, the biggest name probably is Stanton Freidman. He also has done shows with Bud Hopkins, whose work I have followed for quite some time. He has written books and works with MUFON and other organizations. Why would someone become so involved with a topic that many would say does not exist? We all have a passion for something, the question is, why? With most, I think it’s personal experience. Perhaps it’s part of a greater plan, a plan we put forward before we came here. Maybe we just don’t realize it til later in life. Even then do we truly get it? Just imagine if none of this phenomena existed? Would others say that we wasted our lives looking for something that didn’t exist? How would they know? They’re still alive….. Furthermore, how do they know they haven’t spent most of their lives believing a lie?????

This week I talk to the highly acclaimed Tj Ryan. Seems like a pretty good chap. I thought I would go back and highlight some of my recent shows and share some insight on what I think may be going on. I touch on 2012, did you know there is a new movie coming out that portrays it as a great disaster that the ancients forwarned us about. I started thinking recently that if this is part of a cycle, and it happens every so often, and others have survived, well, who knows, right? Also I talk a bit about a strange story I heard a while back and it could be related to the man/wolf. It’s just that people tell you something, and at the time it seems a little bizarre, and years later it makes some sense.
I saw an email a few weeks back and it caught my attention. The woman’s name was Peg Franklin and it was mentioning something about a process called THE LIFEFIELD TECHNIQUE. After checking out the website I discovered that there may be another way that one can help cleanse and discover your true self. Are there negative energies that surround us and are they hampering us from receiving a greater energy life force? I think that could be true. Others have called it the aura, or chi. Is that possible, or is it just crazy talk? Some of you will think it is crazy regardless of who is speaking, so be it. I remember years ago a channel in Marquette did a cleansing of my energy field and I felt really good right after it. Did I believe her? Not sure, it could have just been due to the suggestion. Heck, I wasn’t even sure back then if I believed channeling was a hoax or not. Do I go to these things very often? No. Why? Sometimes people fall in love with the teaching and they want the power that goes with it. It’s ego based and I tend to avoid those kinds of functions. “You need to listen to me because I have gained just a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of enlightenment and I have all of the answers.” Uh….I don’t think so, plus we are all on our own journey and that should be respected. That’s what I like about my guest this week, like the channeler I visited years ago, she is very humble, laughs, and is down to earth. Even if she is speaking a truth that is beneficial, she’s not forcing it on me. I welcome Peg Franklin from Belmont, Michigan this week.

Tom Maat joins me from Western Lower Michigan on this weeks show. He is a member/co founder of the Great Lakes Paranormal Research Organization, Mufon, and The American Ghost Society. I was impressed with his website (michigans otherside.com) because it deals with all kinds of paranormal investigations, not just ghosts. I like talking about ghosts, but I am curious about all things. Tom also has Shamanistic training. What does that mean? I am sure there are many terms for the word. He tells me that he is merely sensitive to energy and leads a natural earthy lifestyle. I have never met Tom before but I did like his essence. He appears to be the real deal to me, he’s not in this just to get attention or make a name for himself. Does he have the ability to pick up on other energies? Spirits? See for yourself and hear some interesting stories.
I’d like to introduce you to my brother from a previous time. I don’t know when it was, it just was. Now if you saw my brother in a dark alley perhaps he would frighten you, he is a big man. At one time he maybe wasn’t always a pleasant man. Earlier in life he was controlled by the bottle. Maybe his ego was too much in control as well. He’s not like that now, I assure you. He is a gentle giant with a great sense of humility and humor. He has some strange stories to tell. I have heard them many times, they are funny, interesting and I believe true. See for yourself. His name is Dan Dunlop, and we have known each other for quite some time. Right away there was a connection.

I am always curious to see what brought a person to where they are now. Plus I think it lends credibility to the guest when they open up and you find why they believe the way they do. Is it from personal experience? I think with most it is.
Strange topics this week? Perhaps. I had a nice vacation, thanks for asking. What did we see? You heard about those folks over in Israel that saw mermaids, right? We were kayaking down the Autrain and saw some strange gals that almost looked a bit fishlike, so I took a picture. Connected to the Israel sighting? Perhaps.
There were a lot of us gathered around, it almost looks like a scene from some movie but I assure you that if could be. Seriously, Bob did see something in the sky that appeared to be dancing around, and he’s not a big believer. Funny, because someone very close to him once saw a ufo land many years ago. So what was it? I don’t know, I didn’t see it. Oddly enough I was paying attention when one of the other residents along the lake made a comment last summer about seeing a ufo over Camp 7 lake as just a matter of fact statement. Not far from there is the town/blink-of-an-eye Stueben. My buddy Joe and his wife were traveling near Stueben and saw a football sized orb float over the trees and go across the road into the woods. What the heck was that? Is this area home to strange phenomena or does it occur almost anywhere where it is remote and forested?
The year was 1952. According to hundreds of eyewitness testimonies, something was going on over the skies of the United States. Frank Feshino Jr. has been on the show before reporting on The Flatwoods Monster, one of his other books. This time I bring him back so that we can follow up with his other book called; Shoot Them Down. Frank spent 18 years of his life researching this one incident in our history that most of us have never even heard of. Is it that easy for our government to cover a story up? Well, at the time it did get quite a bit of press but it never got national coverage. Now why is that? Were there aliens that arrived in ships back then? What were they doing here? Did we attempt to shoot them down? What happened to many of the pilots from around that era who just dissappeared?
David Twichell joins me as we discuss the anniversary of the lunar landing. Many of us remember what we were doing on that day. I remember watching it with my mother and brother. Did you know that there is some audio of Neil Armstrong discussing with Houston an unknown large craft that is nearby? Mission Contol is trying to get Mr. Armstrong to go to a secure channel. David has added a link in the shout box if you want to listen. David also talks about this incident in his book; The UFO Jesus Connection.
Finally getting back to real shows after two weeks of filler. Sorry about that chief. Isn’t that what Maxwell Smart used to always say. This week Duane talks about many interesting things: How things are all connected, our journey, the vibrations associated with intent, the little people, and much more. Remember learning in history about ancient cultures making offerings, history would say it was to the gods. Was it? Maybe with some cultures. Was there really another purpose? If you listen closely you may hear another explanation. I really didn’t even notice it when we first did the interview. After Duane said it, it made a lot of sense to me. It also made me realize that someone isn’t being honest with me. Our history books maybe? Could that be deliberate or just a misunderstanding? I don’t know how it could be when it is so clearly spoken. Do you see what I’m getting at? Whatever the case it does not matter, but I feel it is worth mentioning. We talk about healing, I have seen it done and I have seen what they fortold come true. I refer to a personal experience.
Man it was great to go on vacation. Each year it gets a little more difficult to come back. My vacations are pretty laid back and peaceful. I went down the Autrain river with my father in law and saw something a bit unusual. I took a photo as you can see. Looks like some sort of sea creature. Hmm. Uh, maybe that’s not exactly the truth. Actually we saw a golden eagle at close range. He later told me a story about his own close encounter with one of these birds. Pretty interesting, what does it mean? Does it mean anything? Bob (dad-in-law) saw one in 1972 when he was working on his house, it was no further than four feet from him. It was just staring at him. He let out a scream. It didn’t leave, at least for a while. Interesting, right? Last year I saw what I believe could be a golden eagle not far from Bob’s cabin on Camp 7 lake. The eagle we saw on the Autrain was no more than twenty feet from me and instead of flying off it just flew off to nearby branch. All of this is not in this show but I thought I would share it with you, perhaps in the future I will discuss this.
One of the stangest mysteries of our time. I think I was abducted. The next thing I knew I was enjoying myself and not stressing out at work. (this show by the way does not stress me out, I love doing it) “Yeah, it was weird, I saw this big glowing light, it looked like a campfire.” (that’s what I’m doing on vacation) “Then there were these strange people around me and they were mumbling something, or maybe they were just incoherent.” “I saw a fire in the sky, just like that movie.” Fireworks. “There was even cattle mutilations.” Hamburgers on the grill. You get the picture.
