Author and spiritual teacher Linda Alice Dewey discusses this process along with her new book “The Ghost That Would Not Die.” Linda claims this spirit by the name of Jacobs came along and chose to show himself to her son, and then to her. This in turn led to a telepathic communication which led to the writing of this book.
Jacob’s is a runaway slave who makes his way to the north and then joins the military, winds up deserting, and dealing with many hardships. This book, like Aarons Crossing is told from the perspective of the ghost.
